Community Service Project

Quarter 2 — Dec. 5, 2026
As part of Barstow's commitment to developing students who understand the importance of service, grade 12 students will plan and participate in a community health screening program for the Abelempke community.
Students will be involved in supporting the organization and implementation of the initiative. This experience will help students understand:
  • Community responsibility.
  • Service leadership.
  • Empathy.
  • Teamwork.
  • Civic responsibility.
  • The importance of giving back.
The project will also connect our graduating class meaningfully with the community in which Barstow operates.
