Barstow-Ghana Launches Community Fund
The Barstow School is committed to school to social responsibility, and launched the Barstow-GH Community Fund to support its efforts.
In July, parents, faculty, and guests at the our 2023 graduation ceremony made generous donations to the school's fundraising campaign, demonstrating their commitment to The Barstow-Gh Community Fund.
As a school, we strongly believe in giving back to the community. Instilling a sense of empathy and compassion in our students is a core value at The Barstow School, so we set up a community fund to raise money for community service.
At the July graduation ceremony, the school hosted a yard sale with crafted products by students and staff offered for sale. An auction was also held with artworks created by students at the graduation ceremony. A live painting was produced by a student, Ms. Mellissa Mensah during the ceremony to support the community fund.
