Artists Showcase Their Work Downtown

Four art students participated in the Kansas City Chalk & Walk Festival on Saturday, Sept. 2. Student artists designed a pavement square on a sponsored street canvas in the Historic City Market in Kansas City.
Under the direction of art teacher Amanda Lea, students drew their interpretation of Barbara and Adam from the movie Beetlejuice. Students worked together to complete the design and showcase the work to festivalgoers.
